The FORAS Iraq Opportunities Program is a two year, USAID-funded project managed by FHI 360).
FORAS employs a dual-customer approach to meet the needs of both employers and job seekers. On the demand side, the program ensures that employers at the national and local level have better access to skilled employees. On the supply side, FORAS works with local service providers to provide accelerated skills training.
(FHI 360) As the implementer of the two years USAID funded Iraq Opportunities Program (FORAS) find the enough capacity in TAJDID IRAQ Association for Developing Economy to conduct delivery of employability training to 300 individuals at the organization’s training/clinic location. The organization provided 2 trainers who were enrolled in TOT (Train the Trainer) by the staff of USAID-Foras in CV/resume preparation, basic job interviewing skills, registration on the Foras Job Search Portal, portal features and use, and applying for jobs on the site. These two trainers deliver the necessary training to 300 individuals in each of the two governorates (Baghdad and Najaf).
